‘Mystery of the deep’

Surrounded by the Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Drake’s channel, 6 beautiful bays and 20 secluded coves is the idyllic Peter Island, part of the British Virgin Islands collection and a resort of unparalleled natural beauty and relaxation. Shaped like an anchor, Peter Island features five stunning white sand beaches around its perimeter, as well as 1,800 acres of mountain terrain that feature miles of hiking trails. This is a resort perfect for honeymooners and featuring Honeymoon Beach near Cabey Point, where just two lounge chairs sit beneath a single thatched hut and only one couple at a time can visit.

Tradewinds Wine Room
The variety and quality of wine offered in The Tradewinds Wine Room is reflected in the over 300 selections, including the Caribbean's most exclusive collection of champagne, wine, cognac, armagnac, grappa and eau de vie up to $450 per bottle.
Deadman’s Beach Bar & Grill
Features wood fired pizzas, expansive salad bar buffet, hot entrees, sandwiches and Peter Island’s renowned rack of ribs during the day. Evenings combine live Caribbean steel drum music with feature buffets and continental treats, including West Indian night every Monday.
Seafood Buffet
Fresh oysters, fresh from the reef fish, Caribbean lobster, conch, tuna, scallops crab and sole all make regular appearances at this excellent buffet with its five live cooking stations.
Afternoon Tea
Each afternoon, Peter Island guests can partake of this English tradition with a tropical spin. Peter Island Resort's "Caribbean Tea" offers flavoured iced teas with fresh-baked pastries and Caribbean breads. Typical fare includes passion fruit, mango, rum, lemongrass or cinnamon tea with coconut drops, banana or carrot bread, and pancake-sized chocolate chip cookies.

Deadman's Bay holds the largest and most spectacular beach with towering coconut palms lining calm, protected waters for excellent windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, and other watersports opportunities..
Little Deadman's Bay and beach is an extension of its senior and a good spot for snorkelling. This area draws yachts of every size and kind which quietly anchor just offshore.
Honeymoon, the resort's most intimate beach near Cabey Point. Island tradition dictates that lovers pay tribute to the beach at least once during their stay - one couple at a time, of course!
Big Reef Bay lies a short walk across the hillside from Deadman's Bay. Stretching three-quarters of a mile, its brilliant wave-crashing shoreline is idyllic for beach combing and romantic sunset walks. The resort's fitness trail also winds along this palm-lined beach. Round trip distance from the marina to Big Reef Bay is 1.4 miles.
White Bay's Beach is favoured for its privacy and breathtaking views of Norman and St. John Islands. Snorkelling on either side of the bay, where fish literally eat out of extended hands, is the best on the island. Its sparkling white sands are a perfect place to enjoy an exquisite picnic lunch. A 3.4 mile round-trip walk or complimentary van ride from the marina and reception area provides outstanding vistas along the way.
