Some would choose idyllic surroundings with padded sun loungers. Others would omit everything but palm trees and white sands whilst families may highlight clear, shallow warm waters for their young ones to bathe in. The Crane Beach, Barbados
The amazing pink sand beach here (above, right) would be more at home in Bermuda, but it’s a welcome addition in Barbados and certainly one of the best beaches on the island. The perfect azure blue sea provides an ideal backdrop for couples in search of somewhere peaceful – set away from the hubbub of the larger resorts like Holetown.
