The beach is a 15 min walk away and elgenat shops at Wailea also are just 10 min away. 6.5 km south over a narrowing road is situated the Makena Beach State Park which has the expansive, white-sand Big Beach - 3 km long and more than 30 m wide.
From Kahului International Airport: Exit Kahului Airport on Keolani Pl.. Stay in middle lane and continue onto Dairy Road/Highway 380. Turn left at traffic signal onto South puunene avenue/Highway 350. This street veers right and becomes Mokulele Highway (#311). Turn left onto Piulani Highway (#31). Turn right onto Okolani Drive. Turn right at first stop sign onto Wailea Alanui. the hotel is on the left.
