The Coconut Bay Resort and Spa is set amidst a forest of coconut palms on 85 beautifully landscaped acres, on the lush tropical island of St. Lucia, in an oceanfront setting. The resort offers a superb range of exclusive facilities and a high level of service.  The Coconut Bay Resort and Spa is superbly located just minutes from Hewanorra International Airport and lies in close proximity to many of the island's major attractions and adventure activities. The resort features rooms split in two distinct sections, one catering exclusively for couples and the other tailored towards families, with facilities to accompany both.

The resort's name derives from its setting amidst a forest of coconut palms. It is set on 85 tropical acres just short drive from St. Lucia's Hewanorra Int'l Airport on the island's southern shore. The island capital, Castries, is located less than a one-hour drive from the resort and is served by the George Charles inter-island regional airport.

The facilities offered at the Coconut Bay Resort includes 3 beautiful swimming pools, a water park, kids club, tennis courts, volleyball, fitness centre, teen centre, 2 basket ball courts, health spa and a gift shop. The swimming pools include one adult only swimming pool; a water park with 2 chutes and a lazy river, the kids club also has its own water play feature. In addition guests can enjoy  free group lessons at the tennis courts, or choose to play paintballing for an additional charge payable locally.

The Resort offers a variety of dining options including a la carte dining in two specialty- themed restaurants (proper dress is required). Guests can dine at Silk for a taste of Asian cuisine, Bellagio for Italian entrees, and Coconut Walk for buffet style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snack and grilled favourites are always available at Bites, the beachside grill and guests can quench their thirst with their favorite beverages, cocktails, tropical drinks and fruit juices at three bars, plus a swim-up pool bar. Evenings come alive with entertainment, theme nights and discotheque.

 

The hotel is only a couple of minutes away from the airport so great for plane spotters and transfers but this could deter some guests, although flights are not very frequent and aircraft noise is rarely an issue. The hotel is more isolated than others on the island and the location isn't in a tourist zone so guests should expect to spend time either at the resort or on escorted tours. The location is also on the Atlantic coast of the island, so there is no turquoise-blue Caribbean Sea.
